What does retail store and showroom cleaning include each visit?
Retail and salon premises use their own rate card line: from $110 a visit for dusting and vacuuming of the sales floor, confirmed after a walkthrough. Fitting rooms and shelving edges are dusted, the floor is vacuumed and mopped where mopping is selected, door and display glass is cleaned as interior glass ($5 a pane), and the customer washroom is cleaned as a whole room ($12). Stock handling and display merchandising are not cleaning tasks.
Glass and floors
Fingerprints on the door and the display cases are what customers notice, so selected interior glass is cleaned every visit, and the sales-floor hard floor is mopped edge to edge when mopping is selected. Carpeted sales floors are vacuumed.
Fitting rooms and the washroom
Fitting-room mirrors' ledges, hooks, benches and floors are cleaned with the sales floor. A single-toilet customer or staff washroom is a complete room each visit.
Salons and studios
Stations, mirrors' ledges, the reception desk and the floor are cleaned after closing; tool disinfection and towels stay with the salon, which Halton Region inspects as a personal service setting (see Sources).

From $110 a visit for dusting and vacuuming of the sales floor, confirmed after a walkthrough, before HST. Each added room and task is its own line at the published price: a single-toilet washroom $12, interior glass $5 a standard pane, mopping $15 / $25 / $35 by floor area, a fridge interior $19. Retail floors are not priced by the office calculator; the walkthrough sets the scope and the fixed per-visit price.

How often should a store or showroom be cleaned?
Every operating day for a store with hard floors and glass at the entrance; three visits a week for a low-traffic showroom. Salons are usually daily because of hair on the floor and the inspection standard they are held to.
Tell us at the walkthrough whether the visit should be before opening or after closing and where deliveries and stock sit, so the floor can be done without moving merchandise.
How do access, hours and security work for retail stores and showrooms?
Before opening or after closing, with the alarm, lock-up and till-area rules agreed, and every cleaner background-checked before their first visit. We do not handle stock, cash or the till area.
For a unit in a plaza, confirm the after-hours entrance and whether the landlord cleans the common corridor and shared washrooms.
What is not included, and what needs a walkthrough?
Stock handling, merchandising, exterior glass, awnings and sidewalks, carpet extraction and specialist floor finishes are outside the visit; bins, liners and consumables are agreed at the walkthrough.

Yes. Early-morning visits before opening can be arranged, subject to availability, and are agreed in the written quote.
Do you clean display glass and mirrors?
Yes, as selected interior glass at $5 a standard pane, cleaned every visit. Exterior glass and high glass are quoted separately.
Are you insured, and can you provide a certificate of insurance?
Yes. Heron Cleaning carries $2 million commercial general liability insurance, underwritten by Tokio Marine Canada, for our cleaning and janitorial work. It covers our liability for bodily injury and property damage up to $2 million for any one incident and $5 million in total over the policy year, and the current policy runs to September 13, 2027. If your landlord or property manager needs proof of insurance before the first visit, ask at the walkthrough and we send the certificate.
