Are your regular products harmful?
Our standard products are ordinary household-grade cleaners, used as directed and rinsed. The low-tox option is for people who prefer plant-based products with no ammonia or bleach, and for homes where a baby or a pet is on the floor within the hour.

Are you insured?
Yes. Heron Cleaning carries $2 million commercial general liability insurance, underwritten by Tokio Marine Canada, for our cleaning and janitorial work. It covers our liability for bodily injury and property damage up to $2 million for any one incident and $5 million in total over the policy year, and the current policy runs to September 13, 2027. A certificate of insurance is available on request, and every cleaner is background-checked before their first visit.
